Lovely late 18th.c. oak settle c.1790. Low four panel back with shaped, fielded and cross banded panels and a delightful crossbanded tulip form to each muntin (the upright between the panels). Shaped arms with turned supports and gracefully shaped and tapering front legs ending in a good Georgian pad foot. Initialled I.B twice to the centre of the back rest. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops and sold with a brand new seat pad freshly upholstered in a vintage Trefriw pattern Welsh blanket.
