George III oak open dresser base c.1800. Just over six and a half feet long with a two plank top with an applied moulding to the lower edge. Three large drawers with mahogany crossbanded drawer fronts with cockbeaded edges and good Georgian pattern brass handles and escutcheons. Particularly attractive shaped apron below the drawers also continued on the sides. Raised on square tapering stiles front and rear. Oak side panels, drawer linings and backboard. Some old marks to the top, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
Dimensions: Width 78½" Height 31" Depth 18½".
