A magnificent Antique George III oak Chest with later carved drawer fronts. Comprising of two short over 3 long drawers with mahogany cross banding to the top and reeded canted corners. It is a large and very heavy piece made of solid oak and stands on ogee bracket feet. Each drawer has a working brass lock and it comes with a working key (which works in all of the locks). Dating from circa 1780.

Condition Report
Solid and sturdy. Nice age and patina to the oak. Some edging missing from the top left drawer front and bottom drawer. Old repairs to the mahogany cross-banding to the top. Some small splits and other general age related wear.Some old worm holes to the feet which have been thoroughly treated with worm killer as a precaution.
