Georgian Mahogany Secretaire Cabinet

Georgian Mahogany Secretaire Cabinet secretaire secretaire chest secretaire cabinet %%alt5%%
handsome georgian mahogany secretaire cabinet.
the crossbanded and decoratively inlaid pull out secretaire drawer opening to reveal interior fitted with various stationery compartments and drawers including two 'secret' drawers and baize lined writing surface, the crossbanded and inlaid cupboard doors below enclosing four graduating pull out slides, standing on shaped inlaid bracket feet.
this wonderful cabinet is a rich deep colour with a lovely patina, it has had a couple of old repairs to the top at some point in its long life (nothing to detract from the piece) and normal signs of wear and tear commensurate with age and use but overall it is a most striking item, extremely well made and in good condition.
