Georgian Mahogany Chest on Chest.Circa 1790
This is an exceptional Georgian Mahogany Chest on Chest.
Dating to the end of the 18th Century it is made of mahogany and highlighted by well figured flame mahogany veneers.
The drawers are oak lined, and have cock beaded edges and borders of cross grained mahogany to each drawer. Period swan neck handles.
The wear and tear from years of hard use has been carefully attended, and restoration throughout has been of the highest quality and standard. Drawer runners, guides and stops checked,repaired or replaced as needed. This chest is now in excellent working order and condition.
