An elegant antique Georgian bow front mahogany corner washstand dating from circa 1790. It has a solid top that lifts up and sits on a brass catch to reveal spaces for bowls (missing). The middle tier has one working drawer flanked by two dummy drawers all with brass pull handles. It stands on elegant square out-splayed legs united by an under tier. In beautifully figured mahogany, this versatile piece of antique furniture would make a lovely bathroom unit, hall corner table or plant stand.
