A lovely bow front chest. We date this chest to the early 19th century.

The chest sits on four bracket feet and has been recently french polished. The top surface has a lovely cross banded edge.

The main chest consists of six graduated drawers, two over four. The drawers are fitted with later added drop handles mounted on decorative backplates and locks (no key is supplied but one should be obtainable if required).

The chest has a height of 46.5" (118cm), a width of 42" (107cm) and a depth at deepest of 21" (54cm) at its deepest.

This lovely bow front chest remains in very good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some wear around the feet, the rear right hand foot has an old repair and the front right hand foot has a chip to the outer side. The chest has some veneer repairs and the outer side panels have some minor indentation lines.

This remains a very stylish and elegant chest which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
