Antique Georgian 18C or early 19C bow front flame mahogany chest of drawers.

This is a lovely chest, that is full of age and character.

Medium to light mahogany colouring, with no significant woodworm.

A rare piece with clean simple lines, solid mahogany sides and a veneered top/front.

The ash/oak lined drawers slide freely (possibly later quality ash drawer bottoms).

Overall maximum dimensions 106cmW x 55cmD x 110cmH.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Replacement handles. Internal marks and stains to the drawers as usual. Some historical veneer cracking and repairs, as is to be expected. No keys and the locks are untested (one later Victorian lock).

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person(s) for our driver to assist with carrying.
