Georgian Dresser Base
Here we have for sale today this wonderful Georgian style 2 drawer dresser base.
Dating from around1880, and all made in solid, oak with mahogany cross-banding.
Standing on these front cab-legs with typical joint and peg construction, a deep carved and shaped apron, with 2 drawers fitted with brass handles, with a polished top and moulded edge.
Having its original polish plus patina its a lovely mellow oak colour with a wonderful polish (please see pictures)
Solid in all its joints with NO breaks and NO woodworm. Please note that this Base is in excellent condition, ready to use and requires NO restoration.
