Antique large Georgian C1800 mahogany tallboy chest on chest of drawers.

This is a rare tall chest with a huge storage capacity.

Designed to be split into two halves plus cornice for transport/getting up stairs.

This is a lovely chest, that is full of age, charm and character....which appears to have its original handles.

The oak lined drawers slide freely.

Overall maximum dimensions 112.5cmW x 60.5cmD x 192cmH (93cm bottom+99cm top).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Remnants of old blue paper, marks and stains to the inside of drawers as is usual. No keys and the locks are untested. There are some historical woodworm holes, believed extinct that we have treated for good measure. Possibly historical alterations to the cornice, but can't be sure.
