This is an antique, Georgian wine table dating to c.1800.

Raised on a tripod of slender cabriole legs terminating in shaped feet, the elegant, slender and tapering ring turned column rises to support the platform.

The circular top is in fine order, the aged English oak displays good grain heavily detailed with flashes of medullary rays that glow through the warm and rich patina of the waxed finish.

A super example of a vernacular wine table with solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
