Antique Georgian 18th Century 6 plank oak coffer.

Solid, heavy and strong, with no loose joints.

Would make a great ottoman, blanket chest, shoe store or coffee table.

Full of character and rustic country charm.

Overall maximum dimensions:

126cmW x 39.5cmD x 62cmH, internally 119cmL x 34cmW x 33cmH (candle box is included in this area).

Historic knocks, marks, scratches, cracks, repairs and alterations as is always the way. Some extinct woodworm holes as would be expected, that have been treated for good measure. The male part of the lock (later) is missing and there is no key. Later hinges. There is an historic crack in the lead that has been historically professionally repaired with butterfly joints from beneath (adds to charm and authenticity).
