Antique Georgian 18C oak and burr walnut chest of drawers.

This piece of antique furniture is solid with no loose joints and all of the oak lined drawers slide freely (veneered softwood drawer fronts).

Nice proportions with a lovely age, colour and patina. Fantastically old and characterful, with bags of age and charm.

Would look great in the right location and the lovely veneered drawer fronts lift this chest above most others available.

A rare and desirable chest of drawers.

Maximum overall dimensions 910mmW x 525mmD x 860mmH.

Historic knocks, marks, wear, scratches, cracks, chips, distortion, repairs and alterations. Possibly later feet, handles and escutcheons... no keys and the locks are consequently untested. There are some historic woodworm holes (as you would expect) that we have treated for good measure.

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able-bodied person to assist our driver carrying the chest.
