Antique Georgian 18C or early 19C mahogany chest of drawers.

This is a lovely chest, that is full of age and character.

A rare piece with clean simple lines, solid mahogany sides and a veneered top/front.

The oak lined drawers slide freely.....later oak drawer bottoms.

Overall maximum dimensions 84.5cmW x 50cmD x 104cmH.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Replacement handles. Internal marks and stains to the drawers as usual. A few historic woodworm holes, believed extinct, that have been treated for good measure. Some historical veneer cracking and repairs, as is to be expected. No keys and the locks are untested.

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person(s) for our driver to assist with carrying.
