George IV Rosewood Pedestal Library Table
Circa 1820. A quality rosewood George IV pedestal library table. The rectangular top with rounded corners in well figured rosewood with a simple fore edge. The frieze with two large drawers, each drawer with elegant turned knob handles with faux drawers on the back. The top rests on a cannon barrel stem with a carved base and collar, sitting on a concave platform base, all resting on four profusely carved animal feet including scrolling on the sides with concealed castors beneath.
