Circa 1880, George III style mahogany inlaid 3 door breakfront cabinet bookcase. The breakfront cornice has Greek key detail below an ogee moulding. There are 3 doors with wonderful carved and shaped astragals, inlaid with satinwood and boxwood. Inside are 4 mahogany shelves in each section which are adjustable. On the bottom are 3 flamed mahogany panelled doors with various inlays and stylish corners. The whole piece stands on an enclosed mahogany plinth and the back boards are mahogany fielded panels. Excellent condition with wonderful colour.
