Circa 1780, George III mahogany and inlaid linen press. The cornice has classical Greek key and fine carved decoration below. The top doors have oval flamed mahogany panels and kingwood, ebony and satinwood crossbanding. The panels have a wonderful shaped carved beading surrounding them. Inside the press are 5 oak slides. Below the top are 2 short over 2 long drawers with original swan handles. Below the bottom drawer is a simple moulding and large bracket feet. The linen press has a wonderful colour and patina, and the condition is very good.
