Circa 1790, George III large mahogany linen press, with classic simple Georgian cornice above a crossbanded apron. Below this are 2 panelled doors with flamed mahogany, one with a brass ribbed bezel. Below the top is a moulded edge and 2 short drawers over 2 long drawers with oval brass handles with cast back plates. The whole piece stands on chunky bracket feet. The linen press has wonderful colour and condition, and is exceptionally useful because of its depth.
