A truly magnificent piece of George II Mahogany antique furniture. This highly desirable linen press features an egg & dart cornice, and two beautifully shaped panel doors which open up to reveal three solid linen slides. This cupboard section is positioned above a large Oak rush slide, and three large solid Oak lined drawers. This linen press stands upon its original bracket feet, and is made solely of solid Mahogany and Oak. It is in outstanding condition for a piece that is circa 1750. This piece still retains its original key, however, it has had some replacement handles fitted to the bottom drawers which we believe happened in the Victorian period.
There are no loose joints, and no sign of woodworm to this piece which has been exceptionally cared for.
