A good Georgian oak blanket box chest with interior candle box and brass escutcheon standing on bracket feet. The condition of this box is good, the colour and patina are excellent and the interior is very clean. There is a minor historic blemish to the lower front side which is compatible with age and use, this does not detract from the charm of this beautiful country piece. A superb Georgian box of good neat proportions perfect to use as a coffee table or as extra storage.
