Mid 19th.c. French walnut commode c.1840. Four long drawers plus a fifth drawer hidden in the plinth. Walnut veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern across the top , front and sides. It is quite unusual to the find this style of commode with a veneered top rather than marble. Shaped front to the top drawer (continued on the cabinet sides), the three larger drawers below surrounded with a raised moulding. Turned escutcheons and working locks to all four main drawers. Moulded plinth raised on moulded block front feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
