French Painted Single Bed
Very good decorative French painted Louis xv style generous single bed, lovely carving and in good condition, circa 1900.
The bed has been painted in an off white and lightly distressed.
The bed is wider than the typical uk standard single bed, it will hold a mattress of 3’6” wide x 6’3” long, so it’s got a bit more room that the average single size bed.
The frame is in great condition, original side rails as you can see and also, I have a slatted base for the bed too, so you will just need to place your mattress on the bed. You can use a standard single size mattress if you would rather, it will just be a bit narrow.
Measuring:
Headboard 63” / 160cm high
Footboard 36” / 91cm high
Max width 49” / 125cm
Mattress size of 3’6” x 6’3”
Delivery to most England, Wales and Scotland addresses at £75, but please send me your postcode if you are a bit remote or coastal as it could be more...or you are very welcome to collect from me in Uppingham, Rutland Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
