Here is an example of a fantastic quality antique oak carved French desk, circa 1920 - 1930 originating from France. The top of the desk features an elegant oak cross-banded edge with a pretty shaped moulded edge. The drawers on the front of the desk boast carved fretwork fronts and retain the original brass handles. There is a pretty shaped frieze below the central drawer. The whole of the desk features a shaped serpentine frame. The sides and back of the desk feature inset panels. The oak lined drawers feature a hand-dovetailed construction. The desk sits on elegant cabriole legs. The desk was designed to be freestanding in the middle of the room this is why there is decorative detail on the sides and back of the desk. This is a single piece desk and does not dismantle.

You will be given a refund as long as the item is returned in the same condition. The buyer is required to cover the cost of transit (the delivery cost). We will collect the item using our specialist Furniture Delivery Company to avoid any damage. We will not accept returns via a courier service due to experience of damaged items in transit. This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.
