Description: Antique French Napoleon III lamp in gilded bronze and polychrome porcelain.

The three porcelain sculptures rest on an oval marble base surrounded by gilded bronze profiling.

The woman is depicted inside a sedan chair and is courted by two noble men.

As a backdrop to the scene there are bronze shoots alternating with porcelain petals where two arms with candle holders branch out.

Provenance: France, early 20th century.
