A French gilt bronze mantel antique clock of rococo style. Two lovebirds to the circular base cartouche. A convex enamel dial with five minute outer markers and fine gilt hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the half hours and hours on a bell. Signed 'Lay Freres'. Circa 1890.
