Unusual and very elegant French late c19th Empire style sofa made in black walnut with fluted tapered legs and ormolu mounts.
This is an "occasional" or decorative piece, ideal for a corridor or hall, rather than using as a standard sofa, it has an upright frame although it is quite comfortable with the feather seat!
We have it priced for you as is, with the current vintage green velvet, although no problem to fully re upholster for you in your own fabric.
