Fabulous quality French 19th century mahogany Empire gueridon round centre table with a later specimen marble top.
The marble top is very decorative and a nice alternative to the more traditional tones of marble. Beautifully inlaid compass style and great colours too.
Supported by the reeded balustrade style pedestal on three elegant carved lions paw feet.
Good condition throughout and is a very sturdy table of good proportions.
Measuring:
29 inches or 74 cm high
36 inches or 91.5 cm diameter
25 1/4 inches or 64 cm to the apron Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
