French Drumhead Slate Clock
A good quality French drumhead mantel antique clock. An Ellicott design compensating pendulum. A Belgian slate case with green marble inlays. A bevelled glass panel to the brass edged front. An enamel dial with moon blued steel hands and visible escapement. An 8-day duration mechanism by Marti of Paris striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. Circa 1885.
