French 2nd empire Heavey Cavalry Breastplate & Backplate.

Heavy Brestplate which is numbered and dated 1832 and with several other marks. Clean finish and with brass stud work.

Associated lighter Backplate which is numbered and dated 1833 and with several other marks. Clean finish and with brass stud work.

Both pieces are in good, sound condition but there is no hanging strap work.

Both pieces are roughly 40cm high by 34cm wide.
