French Carved Oak Hat Rack and Bracket Shelf

Circa 1900, a French oak and carved oak hat rack and bracket shelf. The shelf has a shaped and moulded edge with curved ends. Beneath the shelf there is a section with a fielded panel which has further stylish carving. The dipped aprons beneath this carving have cast brass hooks with winged cherubs on them, and a small hook beneath. There are two quarter brackets at the side which supports the shelf and help to make it sturdy. This clean and stylish shelf can be wall mounted.
Size 34cm high x 105cm wide x 21cm deep.
