Dent a Paris. A quality early example of a carriage antique clock. A one-piece case with canted side columns and a decorative handle. A large glass aperture with push button repeating. An enamel dial with trefoil hands and subsidiary alarm. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. Engraved to the backplate. The original escapement. Circa 1850.
