Very decorative and super quality late 19th century French mahogany and brass inlaid adjustable bookcase or armoire with its original glass, circa 1880 and in very good original condition.
The combination of rich mahogany and the brass inlay is fabulous, giving great storage without compromising on style!
The shelves are all fully adjustable and there is a drawer inside as well as the second drawer in the base too.
Wonderful piece of French antique furniture and a statement piece that can work in so many locations.

96 inches or 244 cm maximum height
45 1/2 inches or 116 cm maximum width
21 inches or 53.5 cm maximum depth
14 1/2 inches or 37 cm internal shelf depth Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
