Circa 1820. A French Bourbon Restoration fruit wood dining table. The pegged plank top with wonderful colour and patination, simple rails with a drawer on each end, the drawers have metal handles with simple back plates. The table rests on four stout square leg, (raised) all held in place by peg joints with the legs being braced by substantial H shaped stretchers finishing on square brackets. The table has great colour and patination, clean sturdy and functional. Could be used as a hall or center table.
