Large French solid cherry wood "provincial" style table with fine tapered legs, four plank top, carving slide and a drawer, in very good original condition, circa 1800

Great decorative antique tables and very practical too...if you scratch it, just buff it up with a bit of beeswax

This style of table works well with all styles of home too, whether you have a contemporary apartment, or a traditional country house, this will look fabulous.
The rich cherry tones and grain along with the provincial style

The slide out panel you can see at one end would have been used as a carving slide for meat / bread etc, used and then slid back under. There is a good size drawer at the other end.

The table is a comfortable 8 seater, but you could use the slide leaf as two more settings if pushed!
