French antique bed Louise IV king size
Attractive pale walnut Louise IV style bed. Purchased from a prestigious Warwickshire hotel. Dating from circa 1800. Lovely shaping and carved details including traditional Louis crest and foliate carvings on top of headboard and also on. The footboard.
The side rails have been modified to be higher and to supports slats to in order to take a king size mattress (see photos).
Alternatively these modifications can be easily removed and a standard double mattress can be accommodated inside the rails. Photos shows are with the king size mattress.

Headboard height. 150. Max width 155cm.
Overall length 207cm
Condition : some minor damage to veneers on headboard, scratches and knocks commensurate with age which I have tried to show in photos. Returns
