French 1822 model Cavalry Troopers sabre in original metal scabbard with matching numbers to scabbard and brass hilt. Numerous issue marks to scabbard and hilt. Back of blade engraved and dated. Three bar brass hilt with wire bound leather grip. In very good condition overall with no dents to scabbard or rusting. A particularly good example of this type of sword.

Approximately 111cm overall and blade length 92cm.
