Four Piece French Bergere Lounge Suite (c.1920)
Here is a superb quality four piece French bergere cane suite, circa 1910 - 1920 in excellent condition.

Here is an excellent example of a superb quality four piece antique bergere suite comprising three carver fireside armchairs and a matching three seater couch, circa 1910 – 1920 originating from the period of the 3rd republic in France. The suite is constructed of solid beech. The suite features the original double panel cane work to the sides of the arms and single panel cane work to the back. The suite boasts a lovely curved shape from the back into the arms terminating with sweeping acanthus leaf arms. The base of the suite descends into a floral carved feet at the front and sabre legs to the rear. The suite is fitted with removable cushions which are all in good condition. The suite features a sprung base. The suite seats up to six people comfortably. This is a very comfortable suite due to the deep design of the frame.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room to the conservatory. This item would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.
