Delightful set of 4 late Georgian oak dining chairs c.1810. The design is a country vernacular interpretation of a Chippendale chair, with a shaped top rail and pierced back splat. Over simple board seats raised on square legs joined with stretchers to the front, sides and rear. With an earlier repair to the corner of one chair. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
Dimensions: width 18½", depth 17", height 38".
