Charming set of four late 19th.c. ash and elm kitchen dining chairs c.1890. Of unusual design with a shaped cresting rail in elm over turned pierced backsplats with heart-shaped cutaways and circular saddle (15½” diameter) seats also in elm. Turned ash spindles, legs and stretchers. Stamped with the initials JB to the rear of each seat. Excellent colour and condition, simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
Dimensions: width 19″, depth 20″, height 35″.
