Unusual Georgian style Edwardian mahogany folding towel rail c.1905. 26″ wide rail with two hinged wings to provide extra capacity for towels or as a dressing stand in the bedroom perhaps – ideal for trousers or shirts on hangers. Super quality, in solid mahogany throughout with crisply turned rails and uprights. Turned finials and shaped feet set wide for extra stability. Brass hinges and catch. Stamped with a design number on the underside. Excellent condition.
Dimensions: width 26″ / 52″, depth at feet 13½", height 42½".
