The eleven fine quality, full length, drawers of a good, hand cut dovetailed construction with solid oak linings and the original solid brass handles. The panelled back with dummy drawers. With the original leather top bearing a brass plate engraved ' Vaughan Williams. O.M. composed at this desk part of his 8th Symphony, Glendorgal 1955' With working locks and keys
