This fine mahogany dining table has a lovely graining and is in superb condition. Just re French polished it sits on a really fine turned leg with the original J W Lewty patent castors. These were patented in the 1830s and this rather exceptional table dates form that time, William IV was on the throne of England then. This dining table is fantastic for entertaining eight people as being 54" wide and 70 inches long extended, everyone can chat easily. The quality is really top drawer, the table leaves are really dense, top mahogany and have polished beauifully. A tall table at 29" for the age and as the top is not collared it is really exceptional for a taller person. Chairs are available to go with this table if required. This is a table that will not disappoint, lovely looking, superb condition, great colour and graining. It will seat 8 easily as can be seen in the pictures, however being 54 wide at the end, for holidays and high days you could squeeze 10. This condition and this quality and the fine detail will be hard to beat anywhere at only £1850.00 We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas.
