A stunning exhibition quality 19th Century French Empire mahogany and brass inlaid double bed. The fine figured mahogany inlaid throughout with engraved brass inlay. The bed also benefits from applied brass mouldings and finials. The side rails with further brass inlay and both ends raised on brass bound turned legs. A fine example in very good condition. Supplied with a pre-used base and mattress. Dimensions:- Headboard Height…58’’/ 147.5cm. Footboard Height…32’’/ 81.5cm. Max.Width…57’’/ 145cm. Length…78’’/ 198cm.
