Fine Edwardian Ladies Correspondence Desk & Chair
A fine and high quality elegant Lady's Correspondence Desk with its original matching chair by well known cabinetmakers Edward & Roberts of 21 Wardour Street Piccidilly London.
In original condition finished in Satinwood with handprinted floral decoration, with a plain green grain leather top, this desk comes with its matching chair, a rare treat, which also has its original floral upholstry on the cushioned seat.
An early Edwardian period pieces that has been constructed using the best materials and by one of London's best antique furniture workshops of this period, in the contemporary and popular style of their time.
With 5 usable deep draws this set would sit well in any home office or with a free standing dressing table mirror make a nice bedroom or dressing room table. The grain leather on the top can be exchanged at extra cost to a leather colour of choice with gold tooling etc.
A fine honest unmolested set at a very competitive price.
