This is a most attractive antique Dutch walnut chest of drawers dating from around 1870. The four height chest has brass drop handles and very smart geometric inlay. It has a shaped frieze beneath, square section legs and is inlaid with a conch shell to the top. The cabinet has canted corners with reeded detail which are a nice feature giving an attractive shape to the piece. This has a good warm colour and is in lovely condition, ready for use. The chest stands 88 cms high 86 wide by 50 cms deep.
