Fabulous Arts & Crafts Carved Oak Coffer / Box
A fabulous Arts and Crafts carved oak coffer or blanket box, dating to circa 1900-1910, profusely carved to all four sides with foliate scrolls and seed heads. A beautifully crafted piece, the corners have exposed tenon joints and the end drop handles are decorated with pierced spades. Offered in pretty good condition, commensurate with age, the carving is crisp and the colour is still good. There is a shrinkage crack about 3-4mm wide between the base boards that extends across the piece but this is stabilised and I have filled it in at the ends where it can be seen from the sides, and there is a small shrinkage crack to the left hand side of the top that is about 1mm wide at its widest. Again it looks to be stable and the timbers are so thick that it isn't going to cause any problems. Do email if you require further photos. The box measures 75.5cm wide, 50.5cm deep and 45cm high.

You should receive the goods 10 - 14 days after ordering, more time is required for delivery to the Far North and Scotland. The furniture is sent with small independent and friendly couriers, who take very good care of the furniture whilst in transit. Delivery is to the door, but with request the driver will normally assist into a secure place, house, garage, outhouses, etc.
Levels Antiques do not accept responsibility for any damage caused on the customer's premises when the delivery is being made.
Drivers mobile number available for liaising on day of delivery. Only one delivery attempt will be made with arrangements for the drop off being made in advance.

You have the right to cancel your order within 48 hours.
Once item/s are delivered you have 14 days to cancel the order. Return of your purchase(s) must be within 14 days of this cancellation date.
The cost of the item/s and any delivery charge paid by the buyer will be refunded, whilst the cost of returning the item/s is at the buyers’ own expense.
