Most impressive early 20th Century carved tubular chiming longcase clock . The shaped mahogany hood with carved corners over a matching trunk centred by a shaped glazed door with elaborate pierced astragals and inlaid base, the shaped 14 inch gilt brass dial fully engraved and with applied rings for chime selection Whittington/Westminster and Chime/Silent, the movement with deadbeat escapement to a brass pendulum and nine nickel plated tubes and three brass weights
