A good English steel barrelled 19th century flintlock blunderbuss with hinged spring bayonet on barrel top, and having a thumb release catch, the bayonet spring works perfectly as does the bayonet lock.The lock plate with Goodwin & co in scroll form on side plate and the lock double cocks as it should,the lock having a sliding safety catch and all works perfectly.Full walnut stock with good patinationand and with cross hatch full grip and having a steel butt plate. Birmingham proof marks on top of steel barrel. All in all a nice honest gun in good condition.
