A good looking and unusual coffee table or seat with storage made from a 19th, elm dough bin. With loose plank top on a half barrel form trough with an iron strap. Designed for the mixing of bread dough, it would originally have stool on longer legs so it could be stood at to knead the dough. Lovely pale colour typical of elm. Good solid condition.
