Edwardian Upholstered Settee For Reupholstery
An attractive couch for reupholstery. We date this couch to the early 20th century.
The couch sits on four turned legs with castors.
The settee has a good solid frame and is upholstered in a blush coloured velour material.
The sofa has a sweetheart shaped backrest with splayed armrests at the same height. The sofa has a loose seat down filled cushion with a valance around the base that is pleated at the corners.
The sofa has an overall height of 30.5" (78cm), with an overall width of 60" (153cm) and an overall depth of 31" (79cm). It has a backrest height of 16" (41cm), a seat height of 17" (43cm), a seat width of 43" (109cm) and a seat depth of 21.5" (55cm).
This attractive sofa remains in a good solid condition. The rear of the sofa has marks where it has sat up against a radiator. Although it is perfectly usable as is, it would provide an ideal reupholstery/restoration project for someone with the requisite skills.
This remains a very stylish and elegant sofa. It is very comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
